BOOO! since christmas threw me off, i felt like it was friday when it was wednesday.i missed austin city limits last night. BOO!

MINESWEEPER at jovver's house, i was playing mineswepper on jd's laptop. jeff saw me, and gave me tips. i mean, i know how to play, but now that jeff gave me tips, i'm addicted again. and oh yeah, he beat my top score on jd's comp, so i was bummed.
10 seconds. not bad...but i wanna beat jeff's 8.

IT'S THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS.. AND I WANT TO GO SHOPPING!!!!! not shopping like MACYS or OLD NAVY or departmant stores...i wanna go to TARGET and WALMART to get some stuff. TARGET has probably got to be one of my favorite stores...and boyyyyyyy...there are salessssssss!jd gets off of work at 7pm. i can't wait!! i need to go noW!! but oh well...i'll just do some stuff around the house.

MERRY CHRISTMAS hey everybody. hope everyone has a safe, fun christmas. Last night, our family celebrated christmas. i'm very appreciative of what i got.i'm at Jd's house right now. they're having another get together. we exchanged gifts.
HE GOT ME THE JASON MRAZ CD!!!! my boyfriend rocks! He also got me a belt, GUITAR STRAP, and this cute shirt..
i got him FINAL FANTASY X-2. i went to GAME STOP to buy WARIO WARE, and our friend Brian was working. He told me that Jd was talking to him earlier and said he wanted that game. so i bought it, and reserved Final fantasy CC for him. also got him a dress shirt from old navy and pjs.
THIS IS A GREAT CHRISTMAS. i'm so grateful. my mom was happy about her gifts from us (me, jd, and my dad) and vice versa.
i got a nice check from my parents. =] too bad it's just gonna go to classes and books for the next quarter =[
chato gave me more RAM and his old mouse. yay.

LAST NIGHT since i went shopping last saturday night, i taped the episode of AUSTIN CITY LIMITS. last night, i couldn't help but watch it again..and when i did...
oh man..jason mraz..
what a wonderful voice...his guitar playing skills...his lyrics...his style in music...his humbleness...
AHHH! i think i'm falling for him..
i'll admit...when he first came out, i didn't give him a second glance(looks wise, that is)...with his lazy eye and all..
but now...with every characteristic added to that...he's sexy..

THE 2nd "TALK" About a month ago, while my Mom was at work, she slipped and fell on her head. The nurses examined her, and advised her to go to her worker's comp. doctor. I looked at her head: swollen, red, but wasn't bleeding.They took x-rays of her skull, and it was perfectly fine.
A few weeks later, her complained of headaches. Again, she went to the doctor. She asked for an MRI, but they declined saying, "Maybe these headaches aren't related to the injury." I knew the real reason why they didn't want to: the cost.
My Mom said, "I'd rather be poor and not have health problems." My Mom was so scared of her head pains. There are so many possibilities: normal, cancer, tumor... It killed her not knowing.
She cried to me one day and again, gave me that talk she gave me a few years ago... "karen, do you know what to do when I die? Send dad to the Philippines; they'll take care of him. You can go live with your cousins. I have insurance, don't forget. Don't sell my jewelry, give them to your daughter. Be a good girl, OK?"
While she gave me her little speech, I fought had to keep back the tears, even though it hurt so much hearing her say those words.
I'm taking my Mom to see a neurologist on Christmas Eve. I'm praying...

CHRISTMAS IS NEXT WEEK AND... Christmas Day is next week, and I feel so disapointed. I have a few gifts that I HAVE TO BUY: secret santa (friends), secret santa (family), JD, mommy, and daddy.I WISH I could get my other friends gifts...I WISH I could get my some family members some gifts...I WISH...
but I can't. Although I decided not to tap into my personal account(i don't like taking out money from my account), i decided i'm going to.
Mother gave me a hundred bucks earlier this week to buy gifts. But along with buying some gifts, going out, and gas, I'm now left with a measly, 14 bucks. There's noooo way I can buy my mom's gift, family secret santa gift, and others people's gifts...
*sigh* jd gets off work at 8pm, and we're gonna do some late-night shopping. i'm glad he's helping me out.

THURSDAY AFTERNOON/NIGHT me, jd, chato, abby, jovver, aralim, justine and rachel watched LOTR 3 today. oh so long, oh so funny, oh so good. yeah, we brought some chips and cookies into the theater to munch on. considering that it was a 3:45pm show, there were a lot of people.later that night, we met up again to eat at DENNYS. i love dennys. =]
it felt like friday today.

BOO! christmas break. its really relieving to know that i don't have to go to school till next year. i guess it's because of "the big load" i'm taking next quarter. it' kool though. it's not like i have a job or anything. ahhh. a job. i've forgotten how it feels like to work. i'm so lazy.
i want to write a letter to Bill Gates. hopefully he'll be generous.

WEEKENDS this weekend was fun. we all we to TRACY (me, justine, rach, jennelle, abby, jeff, jovver, jay, gino) for little abigail's bday. we there..chilled. justine and jovver went back to san jose to get jennelle. chilled. me, yabs, and jeff chilled in the garage with the drunk uncles. sang karaoke. well..yabs did..i was just a back-up singer. hahha..ok..i'm a loser.the girls had a room upstairs. little abby, her mom, and justine got the bed...while me, yabs, jennelle, and rach got the floor. me, yabs, and stine couldn't sleep. just talked for a while...hecka laughing. "what time is it?" "4:36am" "fun..." "4:36am!!" haha.
in the morning we headed to the mall in tracy...which is only like, 4 blocks away. then we all went home.

NO MORE SCHOOL! oh yeah! just an easy astronomy final tomorrow and no more school 'till next year. ohhhhh yeah...that's what i like.justine got her pics from her cotillion already. reallllllly nice. 2 bucks for a copy though. YIKES!
i wore these bracelets a few years ago, till my bracelet broke. never took it off, and it shrank to conform to my wrist. i loved it. i'm too cheap to buy a whole pack. i knew about rumors saying that you're BI if you wear it. but i never knew this...
i've been going out every night this week. my mom's mad at me. saying all i do is sleep, talk on the phone, and go out. *sigh* we're all going to TRACY this saturday for little abigail's birthday. all the hommies are gonna sleep over too. i'm scared to tell my mom. she might get more mad.
today, i finally got to go to JOVVER's program. i haven't gone this year on account that i have class on thursday. we were watching a video about the I HOTEL. heartache.

DAVE AND BUSTERS yesterday night was fun! met outside DnB with jd's co-workers and managers. Jd and I pitched in 5 bucks each for a POWERCARD to play games. at 8:15pm, we went inside the dinning room for RITZ/WOLF CAMERA employees. FREE FOOOD! BUFFET!!! oooh yeah.after, there dinner was a raffle. jd's co-workers decided to leave early, so we got 6 more raffle tickets. what were the prizes?
30 $20 POWER CARDS! each card held 100 points. jd's number got called. he got one. another number was called, so i went up to get it. there was probably 15 more to go. we decided to go play more games since it was already getting late.
OOOOOOH YEAH!!! it was sooo fun playing games with jd. between us, we had 200 points...or whatever you call it. SWIPING THE CARD like nothing. we even wasted 20 points on a booth that predicts the face of your future child. i'll post it later. stupid, but hey, it wasn't coming out of our pockets.
FREE FOOD...FREE GAMES..man....what a night!
PS. PASSED the WAT EXAM i took on friday. finally got into my EWRT 1a class. 21 units. oh man...

BLOG TIME Wow. I haven't blogged in a long time. Whether it was school, or projects, or going out, now has been the first opportunity for myself to blog.On Thursday and Friday, we all went to a Poetry Slam that Jennelle was in. Friday was THE FINALS, and Jennelle's piece got the TOP score out of 11 other folks. OHHHH YEAH!!! She was hella dope. I really enjoyed myself that night....really enlightened by everyone's pieces. Jennelle's school got 2nd place and along with that, a check. i'm jealous. =
After that, we headed to BLOCKBUSTER, looking for a movie to rent. Jovver picked out BOAT TRIP. We ended up going to Justine's house, but didn't end up watching it.
Yesterday was Justine's mom's (Mama Connie - my 2nd mama) birthday party. All of us were there. We watched the Cotillion tape. Me and Jennelle were talking with little Abigail (justine's cute little cousin) oh man, she's funny. Justine's dad was drunk, and he had a talk with everyone (all the guys and girls). haha..funnny. "We look at you as a 2nd father" .... "BUT I WANT TO BE THE FIRST!" We ended up watching BOAT TRIP later that night. hahah. we were watching it around 12am ish, and the MAIN MENU of the DVD caught us off guard (there were little cousins still around). hahah. the movie was kool. had its funny parts. Right after it ended, it was almost 2ish, so i left. SOO TIRED. long day.
Today, SUNDAY. JD's has his EMPLOYEE CHRISTMAS DINNER TONIGHT. Me being his guest, it's held at DAVE AND BUSTERS. Never been inside there, so i guess it'll be fun.
2 finals on TUESDAY...1 on friday. I NEED TO STUDYYYY! It'll be rewarding though...WINTER BREAK!!! OHHH YEAHHHH!!!!!!!!! LAZY MODE!

OHHH YEAHH athough i've only watched 3 episode of AUSTIN CITY LIMITS(on PBS), i'm in love with it. The artists that i've seen (ruthie foster and nickel creek) are sooooo dopeeee. oh man..i wish i found this show earlier.nickel creek. they are sooo dope. all of them can sing...and play instuments. oh man. soo dope.
jason mraz and ben harper are gonna be on the upcoming shows. oooohhhhhhh yeahhhh!
