MY THURSDAY yesterday afternoon, yabs came over. i cooked some fettucine alfredo, and we watched full house. then we decided to go to OAKRIDGE and look around for dresses. i saw lots of people i knew. julie and kristine who both work at FOREVER 21, my elementary friend NENA who was also shopping at forever 21. i found a nice, brown, "off-the-shoulder" top which was only $4.99. ohh how i love clearance.then, when me and yabs went to OLD NAVY, we spotted DIO AND THERESA, 2 of my carpool buddies. said our hi's and bye's.
i found, but now, i must go after.

IT'S REALLY REALLY HOT!oh man. the weather is extremely hot. it's killing me. its ok at school, since i'm mostly in the classroom, but when my break/walking to another class comes..it sucks.
i'm on a diet, and i'm taking this one seriously. jd's prom is in a little over a month. i'm using my old jr. prom dress, because i don't have my cotillion dress(what i was planning to wear), and i don't want to buy a new dress.
the problem is, since i last wore that dress, i packed on about 10 pounds. i tried it on, and boy, it's kinda tight..meaning, it shows off my tummy. my arms look fat, and my back fat looks ugly (since it's low cut in the back).
there have been OH-SO many times when i said i was on a diet. the thing i didn't have much was will-power. but i got it now. there's no way around it. i won't buy a new dress, and the only dress i'm gonna use is my old one. cmon karen..you can do it...
i've got 1 month...10 pounds. it's possible for someone to lose that weight it that amount of time, but can i? i hope.

I CAN'T SLEEEEP!!!!!as usually, while watching tv, i fell asleep (i'm estimating around 11:30ish). at around 2:55am, my mom woke me up while she was turning off my lights and stuff. i got up to brush my teeth, when it happened again...
i WOKE UP. after i get up to brush my teeth, i WAKE UP, and can't go back to sleep. i lay in bed, and for 30 mins, i get NO WHERE! i decided to get up and read for my class, but as usual, i can't barely understand the story.
i try to finish 21 grams (i never got through the 1st half), but i don't want to wake up my parents..so i thought, "ehhh, i'll just go online".
so here i am. and honestly, i don't think i'm gonna go back to sleep. i just don't feel sleepy. this is weird.
nothing but infomercials and the news is on. on 3 different news channels, the middle school i went to has been on the local news. a kid died when he got hit in the head with a goal post.
today i washed/cleaned my car..with the help of YABS! haha. she got dropped off at my house, and helped me. she cleaned my rims. haha. i always get lazy to clean them, so they're so dirty. she helped me vacuum and everything. THANKS YABS!
oh man!!!!! i'm not sleepy. this is weirdddd!

SOMETHING'S WRONG WITH MEi'm still working on that essay. a hour ago, i wrote a measly 3 lines. because i didn't know what i was going to write, i called up JD, and rested on my bed. after getting off the phone, i layed in bed, thinking of what to write, thinking about how stupid my essay's gonna turn out...just thinking. i lay there on my bed, with a pillow covering my eyes from the light. 50 minutes later, i'm still on that bed..thinking about that fucken essay, then decided to come online to BLOG ONCE AGAIN.
something is seriously wrong with me. it's ALWAYS like this with me and essays. i KNOW i have to do it, but when i get writer's block, it's downhilll from there. procrastination to the extreme. it's a disease. i need help.
in relation to this, i'm starting to dislike my ewrt 1b class. my teacher is great, but the readings are going over my head. i simply don't get some of the stories, it's messages, etc. everyday is basically a dicussion about the stort stories we read. all these people come up with GREAT, SMART ideas...it amazes me. even guys that look like they came straight from an american eagle catalog and grungy rocker guys have sooo much inteligence (slaps hand for being stereotypical..BIG SORRY). i, on the other hand, come up with NADA. i feel so stupid in that class. i feel stupid reading after reading these stories.
this quarter is BLAHHH!

DISTRACTEDfor the past hour, i've distracted myself from homework by going online. mail, blogs, blogs, and blogs. everytime i realize that it's getting late, i find something new to focus on.
all i gotta do is write a few more entries in that journal about the story, and write that blasted essay. i would do this during my 1 hour 30 min break tomorrow, but we're all going to eat at BJ's, since me and jr are virgins the place.
there's a sink full of dishes, and if mom comes home to it, she'll have a FIT! sayonara.

to make a long story short, friday wasn't that productive. i did the easiest stuff on my list, and left the more difficult stuff for today.
there's not much to do, but i just KNOWWWWWW it's gonna take me all night to do it.
high school reunion is on tonight. i love that show. i watched the 2nd episode, and i've been sucked in ever since. i'm so ashamed..

THIS IS WEIRDToday is Friday, and I’m not going out. Weird. Usually I go out, or see JD, but he spent almost the whole day at my house yesterday, and I don’t want my parents complaining how I always see him.
So I’m going to call this day, “Productive Friday”. I’m going to do all the homework/chores/things I’ve been and my parents have wanted me to do…
-read, reread, and reread story for ewrt 1b(she told us it’s wayyyy confusing) and take notes in journal
-start writing/editing essay for ewrt 1b
this morning, jd woke up early to go work on a project at his friend’s house. I told him to call me at 8am to wake me up to go jogging…and to call me at 8:05 to make sure I got up…and to call me again at 8:10 to make up I didn’t stay in bed.
Well…. he did call, but did I get up? NO. I stayed in bed, knowing I had to get up..Then finally woke up 30 mins ago…at 1:10pm. I’m soo bad. This happens EVERYTIME! I always tell jd to call me early in the morning so I can exercise, but I never get up. I’m hopeless.
k..i got alot of things to do on that list, so i'm going to get started.

HEY GUYSthis week's been OK. fun at times....dragging the other times.
i went bowling yesterday. it was me, jd, chato, william, yabs, and chris. of course, william rocked. our 2nd game, all his turns were spares or strikes. his last turn, he got nada. funny. yeah, i sucked.
a new smallville today. weird episode. at the end, when they show the songs played, there was one by SEAL, with the lyrics, "i need love...". those lyrics were SOOOOOO FAMILIAR, yet i couldn't put my finger on it. i KNEW i heard it somewhere, and picturing a couple having fun, yet i couldn't find out. at the same time, i was on the phone with jd. IT WAS KILLING ME!!!!! then after a few seconds he said, "STEP BY STEP where...". and yes, that triggered in my brain the episode where JT and SAM had just met..and they played that song when they kissed.
i was soooooooooo excited when jd told me. he's great. usually he'd be like, "whatt??? what are you talking about. " but this time..he KNEW! hahaahhaha..i love him.

MERRY EASTERthat's what chris texted me today: "merry easter"...so MERRY EASTER EVERYONE!
for some strange reason, i had a hard time sleeping last time. i thought about how people have been telling me i'm gaining weight (aunts..MOM..DAD..jd..myself), and then i started looking through my FITNESS magazines..fell asleep around 3:30am.
mother woke me up at 8:00am when she got home from work. got ready to go to the 9:30am mass. went alone while my mom got her sleep.
after church, i went back home, chilled for awhile, and went to Jd's easter shindig. all of his family had a get together at the park. it was fun. ate MEAT!! woohoo! chilled. watched the little kids play...funn!
when it got late, we went back to his house. it was just us and his cousins from delano. we watched CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN. kool movie. THEY PLAYED CLASSICAL GAS!!!!!! hahah..i was like, "woahh..is it coming from the tv?!!" kinda weird use of the song, but still kool.
WHAT A LONG DAY!!! i'm soooooooooooo pooooooooopppped!! i still have to do my homework.
i'm going to procrastinate now and watch tv. adios!

I'M OFFICIAL PILIPINOtoday, ejae and his dad came over, and we BOUGHT A KARAOKE MACHINE! hahah..well..the mic with all the songs...WOOHOO!!
today, jd, his mom, aunt, his bro and cousins are going to the GILROY OUTLETS. he called me around 12ish..and i was still sleeping. after paying for my classes and books, my account is wiped out..and i have little cash on me. so i decided, "hey..why the heck am i going to GILROy when i can't buy anything..there's gonna be a lot of walking..and i'm gonna get darker!?!?"
so i'm home..and i'm gonna test out the mic in my room..all by myself, where no one can hear my terrible voice. =]

my friendship with LJ is a complete rollercoaster.
my sophomore year
new boy at school. LJ. kinda stalked him (muahha..jk). meg told him. AIM. forming of friendship.
BUT he had a gf. heartache.
my junior year
stronger friendship. talked about people. ask me to junior prom after i got jipped. got closer. junior prom=best time (caramel frap). talked day and night...night and day. mutual feelings. spring break. was going to hayward, so LJ came along with me so he could go to union city.
then came the unioncity/hayward trip. i messed up. hurt feelings. friendship fading...
my senior year
somewhat regained friendship.
but barely talked.
my freshman year
talked about what happened in the past. settled everything. came to visit me. talked outside my house at night. mom thought he was gonna kidnap me (haha).
but for some reason, we stopped talking to each other.
these past few days, i have been contemplating about our friendship, wondering WHY we stopped talking. i didn't know why. i read his and my past blog entries about what we wrote about each other. i miss "hommie LJ"..our talks..our laughs.
then just an hour ago, he IMs me. we talk on the phone for a bit, until my phone died on me. i'd like to believe we're back on track.
hommie LJIZAY: i can truly say that the friendship we have has been the most UPHILL/DOWNHILL friendship i have. there is so much more that i can write about our friendship..and i can go into detail about ever single aspect. i just wanna say you are a great friend, and one great guy. oh yeah, junior prom was the best. to end this entry off, hopefully this rollercoaster won't have no more dips..and hopefully it'll never end.

END OF THE ROADCAMILE has reached the end of the road on AMERICAN IDOL. when i saw camile in the same group as jasime, i thought she was safe. boy, was i wrong...
anyways, i thought camile's last performance was nice..a nice song to finish to. anyways, me and my were watching it together, and she said, without knowing my obsession with camile, "wow, she's very pretty".
i won't deny it: camile could have done better...but it's just sad to see her go. and i DO think people are voting forthe ACTUAL person instead of their talents. is it bad? i don't know...after all, it is AMERICAN IDOL.
i want fox to come out with an AMERICAN IDOL season 3 DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!

1ST DAY OF SPRING QUARTERso far, i love all my classes.
parking situation is bad. when we got to school, all the parking lots were full. DAMNIT DE ANZA!
environmental studies: EVERYONE's in that class. me, justine, theresa, deo, jr, and other people from prior classs. teacher has lots of energy and a bit kooky. i love it.
1 HOUR and 30 minute break: me, justine, and jr all have the same 1hour 30min break after class. talked to TOGOS. bookstore. chilled.
reading and composition: (ewrt 1b)
teacher seems cool. had people from my ewrt 1a class. 6-8 page research paper. boo! made a friend in that class and kicked it with him during my break.
philosophy : critical thinking. I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE PHILOSOPHYYYYY!!!!!!! our teacher is old, but great. learned a lot already. i loveeeeee itttttttttttttttt!!!!
i love my classes!
PS. 4 of my 5 teachers turned in grades. 3 A's!! and a GRATEFUL B in my english class. she replied to my email, and i got an A- on my final exam (an essay). i feel awesomeee

WEEKEND RECAPLOTS OF DRIVING!
me, jd, and chato went on a "mini-road trip". haha. not really. this was all for jd, because he's been bugging me to go to gilroy and ikea.
first GILROY OUTLETS. jd and chato both bought stuff, but i left empty handed. didn't really see anything worth buying. went to the JELLY BELLY store. MmMm. i loveeeee the buttered popcorn flavor.
after, we headed to east palo alto for IKEA. that was one longgggggggggg drive! chato and jd were sleeping, so i swerved the car a little bit so they'll wake up. chato woke up scared. hahhaa. i love going to ikea. it's so fun, yet heartbreaking. SOO MANY THINGS, but soo little space in my room, and money.
i bought myself a shelf to put in the space above my comp, some coasters, and some eating trays my mom wanted me to buy (i bought one my last visit, she saw it, and wanted me to buy more).
jd got what he wanted: a niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee tv stand, a clock, a black corner table that he wasn't able to get last time (they ran out),
chato wanted to get this alarm clock that you can personalize, but instead he left with this nicee alarm clock that clips onto ledges of tables.
I'M KAREN CARPENTER! HAHA. no, not the singer. i LOVEEE ASSEMBLING FURNITURE! since i was young, i'd always be the one to assemble furniture/bookcases/etc. my dad taught me how to hammer and saw things. HENCE the name: KAREN CARPENTER. haha. so of course, i was the one to put the TV set together...with jd's help.
SCHOOL TOMORROW. a new quarter starts, and i'm going to carpool with justine, theresa, and deo. last quarter, i went to school monday-thursday. i liked it. there was nothing i dread about going to school everyday. the thing i didn't like was all that gas-wasting DRIVING. so this quarter, i'm going back to going to school 2 days a week. I HOPE MY CLASSES ARE GONNA BE FUN.

HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY JONATHAN DEVERA!this afternoon, i headed to jd's house. christian and william were there. they were playing HALO, so i got in the mix....and i WON!!!! hahah. it was great. it was a 3 way tie between me, jd, and william..and i got the last kill. wooohoo!
after, we headed to eat at OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE. it was me, jd, chato, auntie, jd's mom's bf, and his daughter. i'm stuffed.
i'm at abby's house right now, and we're having a get together for jd's bday. everyone's here except for jovver. we're watching the BATTLEFEST tape.
