MY BRAIN IS POOPED on saturday, i looked at my school agenda to see what work i had to do. calc, 2 books to read, 2 art assignments..the list goes on. i then decided to go overboard and get on track. like i said, i finished one book yesterday and started another today. to my amazement, i spent my whole afternoon reading a book..and finished it. ahh!! i'm proud of myself though. my attitude about school has changed. i'm finally on track. i'm doing my homwork..i'm focused...and it's paying off..i've said to myself, year after year, after i get my grades, that i'd be more focused on school. yet, the same thing always happens: i get lazy and put things off. but this year, something new happened....the first time i attended summer school. barely passing my english class with a C- (teacher didn't give D's), i decided to attend so i could bring my GPA up. i did. i got an A in the class.. an A...
senior year started. i was a happy gal. i had my jonathan...my ohana...i had love. i did my hw..i stayed on track. it changed me...for the better. i guess you could say something put me on track...

5 MONTHS so i went to jd's house. we were gonna watch TRAINING DAY, but we decided to go to FRYS. chato came along. there, we saw abby and her bro and mom. Ej, her bro, got an XboX! arghhhh!!!!! i still want one!!! bleh!!!!chato lied to me and said he had only 2 bucks. nosey me looked in his wallet and found 32 bucks! he gave me 5 bucks for togos. yay.
i finished reading the book my english teacher assigned. it's called SIDDHARTHA. it's so deeep. mr. seal is kool. i like getting into all this philosophy. we're also going over plato and other materials. GO MR. SEAL!*

TOO HARD so i'm trying to play "kansas - dust in the wind" on the guitar. oh mah gosh...it's heckaaaaaa fast....and since it's been a while since i played my guitar, it's even more difficult. i love the song though...it's so pretty..the way his voice blends with the guitar riff. the last thing you'ld realize wass that the meaning is so negative since it sounds so nice. oh well...MUST GO BACK!

CHANGE OF PLANS ohana girls were gonna take pictures today. since jennelle was going to be busy, we changed it to tomorrow.
me, jd, chato, and abby went to the mall. went to return some stuff and stuff. yesterday, i bought this cute nine west bag for 17 bucks..but i only paid like, $1 cause i exchanged something. stupid me forgot to see if my wallet fit. it doesn't. i found a cute nine west wallet today. $26 bucks. BOO! not worth it.

SALES so bright and early me and jd went to valley fair. got some kool stuff...new bag, new shoes, a beanie-hat i've always wanted. yay. express had a sale on jeans..but bleh...couldn't find my size! i hate having short legs. jd got his stuff too. got him a mesh hat he wanted. he bought a knitted beanie that justin wears. not shabby either...only 10 bucks..figured it would be more since it's from abercrombie.i feel bad. i've been going out a lot. i think i'll stay at home till sunday...cause sunday is a special day. =]

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! first of all...hope everyone has a merry christmas. i'm at Jd's house right now, just chillen. last night was fun. presentsssss!! wooohoOO! cousin ryan got me a lilo and stitch calender...cousin melissa got me a dope khaki volcom beanie. got bags and whatnot. moneyyyyyy!!! wooohooo! i'm not broke anymoreeeee! the family party last night ended around 3ish. we deceided just to go home, instead of sleeping over...so i drove, since my parents don't like driving at night. so yeah...25 mins driving home..pretty cool since there weren't many cars on the road. cruise control..yaygot home...opened more presents..mother liked the jacket that i got her. yay. she got those inflatable beds too..like the aero beds-but a generic brand. boy was she happy. daddy like his shirt i got him. yay.
so yeah...i don't know what we're gonna do today. maybe me, jd, and chato might go to dennys.
my babe got me a new air freshener for my car!!!!! wooohooo! that's the one thing really wanted. haha. yay!

MY NECK, MY BACK.. oh no, if you're thinking of the song, you're wrong. it's about 3am and i just finished wrapping christmas presents. oh mahh goshhhhh. what a long day:mother woke me up 11am (not that bad). i called up the jd and woke up the guys (his bro, jovver and jay)...MuHahhaha..AGAIN and always they had another ps2 session. we all went over to his house around 2pm. our pre-christmas get -together was going on. brought some food and cooked some too. we went to ALBERTSONS to get some ingredients we needed. the total= $8.54. how much did we have in all? $8.53. haha. funny because we were HELLA trippen...but yeah..it was one of those "you -had -to -be -there-things"
we ate our dinner...chit chatted. then we busted out the pictionary.. guys vs. girls... BLAH ..the guys won. after that game, we decided to act it out instead of drawing. haha...laughs..just imagine acting out "inflate" "indianapolis 500" "fawn" and "bucking bronco"...oh man.. gotta love my friends
at the end of the night, we exchanged presents. me and jd were planning to open our presents together on christmas day..but the friends wanted to see me open it. WOOOOHOOOOO! my babe got me a new phoneeeeeee!!!! yayyyyy! its the one i've always wanted. the mini phones with the headset that you can clip onto yourself. noo, the the mini-mini ones...but the ones from radio shackkk...awwwww...my babe rocks. =]
justine and rachel gave me my presents when i got home. justine gave me 2 KOOL socks(its funny cause she was wearing the socks she gave me ..her own pair..and i was hella jocken them) and a BOO doll!!! i've always wanted one. rach got me a stitch bubble blower. its funny cause stitch's mouth looks like my bf's lips..ehhh...hard to explain. but woohooo..yay friends.
tomorrow we're celebrating christmas eve at my aunt's house. yay

LATE RECAP so i got lazy and didn't do my recap, but here's how my week went:Tuesday: went to the tuesday night meeting. after, we all went to jay's house cause his bro, joe, was turning 21. yay. we chilled. ate. jennelle and rachel were making fun of my laugh because i was still sick and it sounded hecka funna. =P
Wednesday: an early dismissal day. woohoo. nothing much.
Thursday: regular day..nothing special
Friday: early dismissal day..wooohoo! last day of the year. after school, we went and got jd and abby. headed to the mall. after, we got jennelle and chilled at justine's house. watched ocean's eleven...ordered some pizzas. after, we went to WINTERFEST. that's the name of our school's winter show. it was kool. had some dope performers. long long day..woowee
Saturday: me and jd went to the mall to buy gifts for the guys. pretty kool stuff. ate some in n out. haven't had that in a long time....mMMm..went to walgreens..got more wrapping paper..picked up chats at landing zone aka "computer central". haha..that geek. just kidding..he's kool
Today: today was rhea's cotillion (jd's friend). i talked to her a few times, but not enough to call her a friend. had fun. everyone was basically there, except for some friends. danced the night away. after, we went to great mall to get some starbucks, since the malls were still open. emerald parked over a diaper!!! hahahha! yeah, what the heck is a used diaper doing in a parking lot. oh man did it smell.. we headed to jd's house. the guys AGAIN were gonna play some ps2. it was about 11:30pm, and i decided to leave. everyone's still over there...those poopers! i wish my mama let me stay out late. oh well...its all good
Tomorrow: we're gonna have an pre-christmas ohana party. just a get together before christmas. exchange presents, eat, chill, and whatnot. yay.

RAR so last night, jennelle called me and said they were gonna chill somewhere. but grrrr..i'm sickkk. i told them that i can't make it, and she told me to "get better and drink lots of fluids", just about what everyone says. hehe.sooo..it's was about 2:30am. jd called me and woke me up. he said he just got home. from work, they went to jennelle's house and spent the night playing RED FRACTION and chilling. it was like jd, jeff, jennelle, abby, jay, and jovver. me on the other hand, spent the night sleeping and picking up phone calls from jd and my mommie, just checking up on me. jd went to sleep and now i'm here...online...wide awake. GRRR!
there's a storm here in the bay area. it's soo scary driving when it's raining hard. arghh!

NO SCHOOL didn't go to school today. oh boy am i sick. i feel like crap. soo, i missed a LOT at school today: calculus chapter test, vocab test, turning in work, finishing my physics test, and turning in the baby ad for the yearbook. oh well.yesterday was the MELVIN ANCHETA DINNER. this 8 year old filipino boy was brutally murdered 10 years ago. they say it "remains one of the region's most notorious crimes". FYC(filipino youth coalition) organizes an annual dinner in his spirit. The family used to attended, but they decided to stop attending because it was too painful to relive the day they lost melvin. jovver was classmates with melvin, and gave touching words about him. the night overall was good. more information on melvin ancheta

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING went to the mall today. met up with jd there. we went into the disney store and i saw the stitch doll on sale. only 10 bucks. i said i wanted to buy it. jd told me to go to anchor blue and he'll meet up with me cause he had to go to the bathroom. i went, and looked around. the next thing i know, my babe comes in with a disney store bag. he bought me the stitch doll and some lilo and stitch hand towels. the littlest things he does just makes me soo happy. i love my boyfriend so much..since my mom loves my cordoroy jackets, i decided to buy her one for christmas. things are kinda EHH with her. blahhhhhhh. me and jd went to jcpenneys. we found some nice track jackets so he got a red one and i got a blue one. yeah..

SEAL so, supposedly the vocab list is supposed to be posted on the website. in class, he said he'd post it up during 5th period. since i don't have anything to do, i've been visiting that website about 2 times every hour. well, 7 hours later, still no sign of the vocabulary list. grrr, mr. seal, grrrr!!
my room is tidy and smells like yummy candles. that's a first.
mrs. perez, my calculus teacher, left with only a little amount of class time, taught the class HALF of a problem from a section we're covering. although most of the class didn't understand the section, today, she decided it was OK to move on to the next section. i think she's competing with another calculus teacher to see who will finish covering all the material. what happened to an educationnnnn???

SATURDAY NIGHT my morning/afternoon was spent at home with my parents. we talked, cleaned, ate, joked around. it was nice actually talking to my parents. but like always, somehow, the past is brought up once again. yes, i did make mistakes...but i've learned from them. i try my best to make them proud. my grades improved drastically. from failing my classes to being the top of my class is a goal i've achieved. don't they see that i changed? bLah!
soo, i surprised jd today. he got off work at 6pm today, so i told him to buy me candy while i was secretly waiting outside. as i saw him walk out, i sneaked behind him and grabbed him. he gave me a peice of cheesecake he got from work. yay. anyways, we go to Great Mall once again. oh how we do love to window shop. this time, since he got his paycheck, he had money to spend. as we enter the mall, i see someone: my ex-boyfriend from freshman year. it's weird cause he's a tall white guy and i'm the opposite. jd was all surprised cause he looks so hardcore. seee what drugs and alcohol do to you! =P
we went into VANS and we saw some GREEN OLD SKOOLS. AHHHHHH! old skools are hellllla dope. i got mine about a year ago, and faded and worn out as they are, i still continue to wear them. refer to Nov 17, 2001 entry. they were so cheap back then and sooo comfy. aRGHHHH!! and it's not a "light green" color...it's a deep olive "kaka" green. arghhhh! he found his size and bought them. i'm jealous. why do guys always have the coooolest shoes???!?!?
justine calls up and tells us she has another family party, so we head to her house. kenneth, abby, and jeanie are already there. so was my mom. we chilled and they headed out to kenneth's house. jay went along, so i droped off jd. before we went to kenneth's, we went to his house cause he needed some medicine cause he was getting sick. when we got to kenneth's, jovver and his gf were there, and they were already playing fusion frenzy. i stayed for a bit and went back to justine's pary.
after that, i went home. jd says the guys are gonna be sleeping at kenneth's again. haha. 3 saturdays in a row. those boys are really addicted to X-box. hey, i don't blame them. video games rock.

MY OHANA GIRLS last night(wednesday), all the "ohana girls" (me, justine, rachel, jennelle, abby) went to our ate liz's house. she works for that Beauty line, Mary Kay. we helped her put stickers on some products and just chilled. after, we had our "makover session". oh man. it was dope. we cleansed our faces, exfoliated our lips and hands (oh man, so soft), and did some under-eye treatment. we had to head home cause it was getting late, and we got an early christmas gift. ate liz is the sweetest. HAPPY SATURDAY saturday was kool. went to jd's house in the morning cause we were gonna go to our friend's family party. went to pick up jennelle, jay, and jeanie. Went to abby's house and ate some good filipino cookin. droped off abby at a 16 year old's COTILLION. oh man. can you believe that? how dumb. it totally contradicts the idea of a cotillon. (cotillions are when a girl turns 18. a big formal birthday party presenting her to the public as a woman for the first time). well, this girl had hers at 16 because she was going to be in college by the time she was 18. oh well. this world is full of weird people.well, all of us went to WALMART and got some stuff. after, we went to BEST BUY. the guys (jd, kenneth, jovver, ej, jeff, and jay) went to the video game section to play and look at games- as usual. us girls (me, jennelle, and jeanie), went on a "journey". haha. we saw this cute worker and another customer. haha. call us stalkers.
7pm after, as we were leaving the store, i look to my left, and to my amazement, manny was standing there. crazzzy. he waved hi and i did too. i swear. even though he lives far, i see him at the weirdest times. trippy. anyways, i called my dad to check up on him and he got sick. he told me to come home. i was having fun. i told him i was gonna come home later. call me selfish.
time went by. went back to the cotillion and watched our friends perform. after, we went to jack in the crack. HECKA of us were driving. here it goes: me, kenneth, jovver, jeff, ej, jennie, emerald, marvin, and loreto. shesh. i followed kenneth. ended up we were following the wrong van. kenneth told me to lead the way so i did. made a huge circle. =P
10:30pm. jack in the crack. ordered food, said goodbyes to everyone and left for home because i was worried about my dad. got home and dad was coughing. i checked him temperature and it was normal. his blood pressure, though, was high. i called up jd and started crying, saying how i was only thinking about myself, and not thinking about my sick dad that was home alone. i'm so selfish.
sunday morning i go to church alone. college applications are due tomorrow. i didn't start on my personal statement yet. i was going to apply to UCSC. that was the only college i want to attend. mother told me of our financial problems, yet i ignore her and declare that i'm going to attend UCSC. i made my choice: i'm sacrificing my dream. i'm not even going to apply. i'm gonna go to deanza community college and transfer to UCSC. i won't be putting a financial burdern on my parents. most of the bills they're paying are mine: cell phone, internet, ortho, car, insurance. i pity my mom. working overtime, although she doesn't have the strength, just to pay the bills that i have. is it selfish that my mom doesn't want me to go to UCSC? not at all. the only selfish one is me. even though everyone says they want to leave after senior year, it's not my time.
