MY WEEKEND SPENT AT HOME so mother went on a trip with "the adults" to RENO, where she spend time gambling in the "nickel slots". I, on the other hand, will be spending my weekend at home. mama gave me orders to stay home, limiting my outings, and stay with my dad.i'm not complaining. if i went out during the weekend, i'd probably gain 5 pounds from eating out.
i watched HONEY I SHRUNKED THE KIDS.
in the past 2 days, i think i've eaten about 8 tuna sandwiches. ahhhhhhhhhhhh

THE DAY AFTER.. so yesterday was crystal's cotillion. oh mannnnnn. i had so much funnnnn! the day started off at me at jennelle's house. she did my hair..and of course, it was soo cute! then me and jd mt up everyone at the hall...set up...got ready. then the party was ready to start.the dresses weren't on my mind that much. we did 11 minute waltz...haha. i didn't mess upppp. wooohoooooo! during our cha-cha..i made a bigggggg mistake. why is it that the only time i really mess up is during the performance?!?! sheeeeeshhh. people from my court and from crystal's court performed BEAT IT. it was funn. after everything...18 roses and candles..the speeches..it was time for the dancing..woohooooo!!
we stayed at the hall till like..1ish..just chillen..killing time. i wanted to do something..people wanted to go home..people had to go home..so at the end...we went our separate ways. me and jd decided to go to eat at dennys. yum. i got home around 3. mommy, of course, was waiting up for me.
when i got home, i came to realize that i'm not gonna really see these folks again. people in crystal's court are going to sjsu..some to deanza..and some still in high school. but man..the practices are overrrrrr...and now what am i going to do?
people start school next week. i don't start school till another month. i still have no job. what the heck am i going to do???
all i can say is that you'll be seeing more of me...with a new layout and more pictures. =]

PRETTY IN PINK? that's exactly the opposite of myself. dark skinned people like me don't really go well with the color PINK. i'm sorry... PINK is just not my color. but yes, for CRYSTAL's COTILLION on friday, us girls are going to be wearing some pink dresses.Crystal's color is PEACH. but where we were getting our dresses, they had no PEACH-colored fabric. so they decided to give us PINK dresses. the dresses were made, and turned out pretty good...except for the fact that they are PINK. no offense to crystal...there were no other choices. but yes, we will be wearing LIGHT PINK dresses.
i'm look forward to FRIDAY...seriously, i am. i'm just not looking forward to those PINK DRESSES.

WOAH MAMA so i was in OLD NAVY with jd today...just minding my own business..trying to look for some Freakin jeans in my size. i heard someone call my name..."KAREN!!!!!!" i look to my left. it was SANDYYYY!! i went to middle school with her. the last time i saw her was in 8th grade. anyways..we caught up. i couldn't believe she recognized me. but yeah..she told me she's going to UCLA. wow.
cotillion tomorrow. yay.

NO REGRETS? i had a sort of mentality i held about regrets: "no regrets..just accept what happened, learn from the experience, move on and grow from it". i've realized now that it was just a facade. yes, i did learn from past experiences and tried to move on...but in the end, there was a part of me that did regret my actions. regrets...there's no running away from them...it's inevitable...1:29 AM .

WOAH! 1 W/O BLOGGING? I THOUGHT YOU WERE BACK?! yeah, remember when i said you guys would see me back more? sorry!monday-thursday i had orientation for de anza. it was kool. i'm placed in english 100b and justine is in 1A. i am baddddddddd at english as you can tell...math is my kinda thing. the program i joined was REALLLY helpful. thank god i found it. anyways, i chose my schedule already...and if all goes well, i'll be going to school on TUESDAY and THURSDAY from 10:10am-7pm. woooohoooo! i don't like commuting. =P
in those days, i had cotillion practice...and we have a new ADDITION to crystal's court!!! my friend JAY!!! haha. the cotillion is in less than 2 weeks, but ohh man, jay's one brave man.
friday & saturday was the summer retreat for FYC. i've decided that this will be the last time i participate in FYC. for one, i'm already gonna be in college (school, jobs)...and secondly, i've had experience all the event planning and whatnot, so me staying just doesn't make sense.
the retreat was FUNNN! it was only a few of us...the girls (me, justine, rachel, abby, jennelle)..some of the guys (jd, jeff, jay, chris, jd's bro), and the staff (jovver, jan, ate michelle, BoYsEe). anyways, we stayed at EMBASSY SUITES. the girls got their own room, the guys, and as well as the staff. . i pooped sooooo much that night, jeff spent like an hour in the bathroom. almost all of the folks were pooping and feeling sick. we're thinking that we all got food poisoning from the ranch we ate. ahhhhhhh..it was terribleeeeee!! but yeah, everyone didn't really sleep that night. i had sleep what so ever. the girls got some naps. the day after we went to great america. i was tiredddddddd. jd bought me 2 cotton candies, and i bought 2 caramel apples WITH NUTS. i dropped off abby at home, we to jd's house and we took a nap together. he woke me up and it was 9 something. so i rushed to my car, drove home, and ended up falling asleep till 12pm this morning. =]
MY VOW: TO WORK HARD IN COLLEGE, DEVOTING MOST OF MY TIME TO IT, AND MAKING IT ONE OF THE TOP PRIORITIES ON MY LIST. I WANT TO MAINTAIN A 3.5 GPA ALL THROUGHOUT MY TIME IN DE ANZA. WHEN I TRANSFER, I WILL MAKE ANOTHER VOW. =]
i'm going to a wedding reception today in los gatos's opera house with my mommy. the opera house was a choice for a senior prom to be held out, so i wanna check it out.

OH YEAH...AND PS... monday was JENNELLE'S 17th birthday. what did we do?! well, the whole gang plus other folks went to SAN FRANCISCO....these were the people...
MY CAR: me, jd, justine, and the birthday girl
JOVVER'S CAR: jovver, jeanie, kenneth, ryan
JEFF'S CAR: jeff, abegail, jay, grant
LEE'S CAR: lee, crystal, rachel
our plan was to meet at justine's house and leave at 11am. well, LAGGIN, we left at 1:30pm. our first destinationn....
...PIER 39. so we parked in the pier 39 garage...ouch. we made our first stop into KRAZY KAPS. by this time...it was around 4pm, and i hadn't eaten all day. jd buys me some clamchowder..MMM!!! we then headed to our next destination..after paying 18 bucks for the parking. ayy-chi-wah-wah. that bummed me for the longest time..but thanks for those who pitched in.
....next stop...GOLDEN GATE PARK. before that, we had to stop by SHELL so lee could gas up, and cause jovver needed to take a PHaT dump. when we got out we were ALL SOO COLDDDD!!!!! i was wearing 2 sweaters...we chilled, took pictures with the statues, and walked around while bloody slugs fell from the trees (i'm dead serious). by this time...it was around 7pm..
OCEAN BEACH we made bonfire on the wrong side of the beach. friendly officer told us to put it out. we just decided to bbq at justine's house. kenneth bbq some goood chickennnn. MMm.
the night was over..what a day.
